Here's map of Cleveland, Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie. The red star indicates the location of Larchmere Oriental Rugs, just east of the city and on the edges of Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights. (Actually, if you cross the street from the shop, you walk from Cleveland to Shaker Heights. Now that's what We call living on the edge!) Via highways, I-490 is the most direct link, and most highways intersect with I-490 just south of downtown. I-490 is an extension built off I-90, so obviously I-90 will get you there, but so will I-71 and I-77 from the south (which are in turn accessible by I-480, which is accessible by I-271). You get the idea.

Written directions for drivers:

From Downtown: East on Carnegie to Stokes Boulevard (formerly called Fairhill). Turn right (S) onto Stokes and travel up the hill past four lights. Turn right (S) onto E. 127th Street. The next light is Larchmere Boulevard, turn right and Larchmere Oriental Rugs will be immediately on your right. Parking is available on the street or in the lot right next to the store.

From the West: East on I-90 to I-490, exit at E. 55th Street (where I-490 dead-ends) and turn left (N). At the second light turn right (E) onto Woodland Avenue (it's really the second right of the same intersection, next to the Rally's hamburger joint); follow for about three miles. When Woodland climbs a hill and crosses MLK Boulevard, it changes its name to Larchmere Boulevard. Rugs will be on the left where there are two traffic lights in a row at E. 127th St.

From the South: North on I-71 to I-490 East to E. 55th Street exit or North on I-77 to E. 55th Street exit. Turn left onto E. 55th Street (N), and at the second light turn right (E) onto Woodland Avenue and follow Woodland for about three miles. When Woodland climbs a hill and crosses MLK Boulevard, it changes its name to Larchmere. Larchmere Oriental Rugs will be on the left where there are two traffic lights in a row at E. 127th St.

From the East: Take I-90 West to I-271 South, or I-480 West to I-271 North. Exit I-271 at Chagrin Boulevard and head west. At Richmond Road turn right (N), and then turn left (W) onto Shaker Boulevard. Follow Shaker Boulevard just past Shaker Square (which is a shopping center on all sides of Shaker separated by the RTA trolley down the middle of Shaker Boulevard) and turn right (N, your only choice) at the second road, which is E. 127th Street. In one block you will reach a traffic light at Larchmere Boulevard, and straight ahead is Larchmere Oriental Rugs.

Free Parking is available in a lot on the west side of the shop,
or you can park on the street.
